The 30 TL from Magicshine lights is a super light in weight, it weighs just a light 0.84 oz !
Incredible size, one thing I did Notice was the side reflections from the 30 TL, nice and visible for being seen,
Magicshine have made the 30 TL waterproof passing the IPX6 waterproof test, so you will not get caught out if your in a downpour, or even if you leave it on the bike whilst you wash it...
the 30 TL is a 30 Lumens rear light, visible from up to 800 metres away, so you will be seen day or night.
Magicshine have added a great feature to the T30 TL in a clever Ambient Light Sensor, this makes the 30 TL adjust to the light, the output depends on the amount of light there is, all very clever.
Light setting mode on the 30 TL it has 3 brightness modes, 4 flash modes and a constant mode, with a memory switch, so when it’s turned back on, it will remember the setting it was in When switched off.


My Verdict.
Great compact no nonsense rear bike light.
Easy charge up vie USB.
Nice and simple on off combination switch with last setting memory.
Light as a Feather.
Very good on the brightness with various levels, including flash and permanently on.
Waterproof.

Bad Points.
My only gripe is the rubber fixing strap, could do with being a bit larger, or Having another slightly larger one as I found on a couple of bikes with a larger seat post of around 35 MM was stretching the strap a bit too much, on my Giant carbon seat post which has a flat rear face to it, I found the 30 TL was ok in its position, It was the fixing strap which was at max stretch limit. 


Seatpost diameters generally range from 22 mm to 35 mm in 0.2 mm increments. The most common size is 27.2 mm (1.07 in) for most bikes, especially for the higher-quality models. BMX bikes commonly use 25.4 seatposts. In some modern bikes with thicker alloy or carbon tubing, larger diameters such as 30.9 mm are used.

The Magicshine rear light is very impressive, been using it on the gravel bike now for a few weeks, I find it a easy light to use, nice and bright when you need it on during the day, mount has no faults at all, the rubber satrap has helped keep the Magicshine in place at all time, over rough terrain and out on the road, it’s well worth looking at if you need a rear light now the dark nights are drawing in.

Flaer Bike Cleaner Review.

Two products on review first is the Revive High Performance cleaner, And also Flaer Guard Protector Spray..

Revive and Guard.

Flaer do a chain lubricating system to give you more gain on the road, up to 12 Watts they say and also a system for off the road bike as well, so take a look at the website, some impressive chain improvement kit on there.

Now on with the review of the Flaer Revive and Guard, both products are safe to use on any type of paint you may have on your bike, its formulated to be safe on Carbon, Aluminium,Steal, Titanium and more.

I found using the Flaer Revive one of the easiest bike cleaners I’ve ever used, instructions are simple.

Muddy bike after a ride out. 

Derailleur look pretty clean considering the kind of ride  I Went out on. 

Caked in Mud!

Trigger Sprayer of the Flear Revival feels like it is a well designed and made, it felt good to use, so easy to pull the trigger and spray!.

Revive bike cleaner. 

Flaer say on the label the “Revive is a high performance bike cleaner”, and once I was into the process of cleaning the bike it’s obvious why they say that, I chose to clean a small test patch first before setting about my frame and wheels to clean, I was glad to say the test proved a success, and I carried on, instructions as per rear label “simply rotate nozzle to the on position then pull the trigger” applying directly to the area to be cleaned and leave up to 5 minutes, rinsing off with clean water, for the stubborn areas use a brush or cloth before rinsing...
That was the plan, I was ok up to the point of  “leave on for up to 5 minutes”, and as you can guess, I got side tracked with doing something else, by the time I realise what the time was, parts of the bike frame and wheels had dried to a streaky finish, all my own fault, as I was cleaning the bike in the garden and enjoying the sun, (Yes, we do have Sun down South!) Anyway, I had no need to panic, when I’m cleaning my bike I do not use a Pressure washer or garden house,  I simply use a hand pressure sprayer,  I find it’s easy to simply fill With water and pump the handle and Point to where you need it, and spray, take a look at the @Silvertools website, https://www.silverlinetools.com Hand Sprayer   perfect control to wet down the Bike, for the stubborn parts I used a sponge to Clean off the stubborn bits on the bike, with a bit of rubbing, the dirt is off, once dirt removed I Simply spray with clean water and then dry and Polish with a cloth, I dry the wheels and frame using a cloth, I found the Revive bought the wheels and tyres up like a New Look, they looked amazing, had a nice feel to the tyres as well.

Revive sprayed on, just wait for 5 Minutes.

Flaer Guard Review.

On completion of the bike clean it was time to use the Revive Guard, it does what the description says, it “Guards” your frame and wheels, once your finished cleaning and polishing your pride and joy, it’s time to protect the Bike with the Flear Guard for the next ride, instructions was the usual “Open nozzle and squeeze the trigger” to spay where needed, but personally I thought it was going to be a bit wasteful, and apart from going everywhere so I decided to use a Ora Kitchen towel, (brilliant towels) Ora Kitchen Towle you can of course use a microfibre cloth just as good..
The way I used the Flear Guard was very simply spraying on to the Ora and wipe the wheels and tyres including the frame and front forks in fact the whole bike was treated, finish result was a “As Good As New Look” on my tyres wheels frame, really impressive, the way the Guard works it leaves a coating so when it’s cleaned after the ride next time it’s even easier to get clean... I love it.

I used the Revive on the edge of the garden table I have, mainly because I passed the table with Flear Revive in hand and a cloth, so did a test patch, was impressed with the outcome and I ended up doing the whole table frame!, it looks nice, it’s a table that has been outside for around 25  Years!

My Verdict on Flaer Revive Bike Cleaner.
On  the cleaning Of my bike which was caked in mud after a long ride, I found it to be one of the easiest products to use, even in the midday sun, had no problems with Guard drying once I was using it, the job Of cleaning was made into a pleasure to get the bike looking that clean in a short space of time, I never timed how long it had taken, maybe next time I will.
Great trigger design.

My Verdict on Flaer Guard protection.
Easy to use.
Great results.
Really impressed with the way Flaer Guard brought up my two year old tyres to a “as new look”.

I’ll give you all a update on the next bike clean as I feel it it will be a wet ride as I t’s raining outside!

Wind Blox have developed a pair of Ear Covers that do a great job of keeping out the wind resistance noise when out on your ride.
 They were delivered in a sturdy box delivered directly from Wind Blox, inside there were two Ear warmers and a instruction sheet.
Fitting was straight forward it was "child’s play" you simply pull the Focus ear covers apart and place your cycle helmet straps through the middle of the opening,  adjusting them to the right position. Once they are in the right position, the Focus covers will stay in place, thanks to the Velcro in the inner section of the covers.
I was lucky or unlucky enough depending on which way you look at it to test them out on a Cold Windy day, luckily enough after fitting the Focus ear covers the Noise was reduced to a level that I was able to hear cars from behind and ahead a lot clearer,  I also found my ears were warmer and the ride was a lot more pleasant.  I soon forgot about the chill factor and enjoying the ride more than I previously have without the Focus on my cycle helmet.
Another great benefit is I will not need to remember to fit them every time I go out, as they are  attached to my helmet all the time now, excellent work by Wind Blox.
The material they have used has a soft feel that also keeps you extremely warm.

Wind Blox have been testing the Focus in a wind tunnel with great success and they have Paten-pending technology which blocks out 80% of noise, which after using them I can believe.
I could not give any test results as I’m not an engineer, but its a very easy thing to test them for yourself, by simply finding a safe place to ride and listen to the change in noise when riding without them attached and then with them and listen to the difference yourself, I much preferred it with the Focus Wind Blox attached to my cycle helmet straps.

My Verdict on the Wind-Blox Focus:
PRO'S:

Easy to fit.
Comfortable on the ears.
Works well even if your wearing a hearing aid device.
Cuts down the wind noise making the ride more enjoyable.
Light in weight.

What gives this camera the edge (Edge get the pun) over the competition is that it comes with a wide range of essential accessories, including mounts to attach it to a board or a helmet and a detachable TFT screen so you can monitor exactly what you're filming. What's more, an included waterproof case means you can record water-based activities like scuba diving, surfing and Kayaking, the case make's the Edge waterproof down to 100m!

Easy Set Up:  Simply follow the instruction on fitting the SD Micro card (Not supplied) and charge the battery up and you are ready to go!
Be carful on removing the TFT Screen from the rear to access the rechargeable battery, I found it a bit tricky to start with as the instruction was not all that clear, but once it is sussed out and you practise the On/Off a few times it begins to sink in how easy it really is to remove.

Above is a quick out the box and shoot video I did with the Edge, hand held as I found none of the mounts were not compatible with the ones I have, I will try to find a cycle mount that will fit the case for future ride videos for you all to check over.

Camera: The Edge has a really easy to use single shoot mode, as well as a timer shot mode.

Bike bells can come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, I still remember the simple tin bell I had on my bike as a child, to the Hi Tec multi coloured and rubberized bells cycle shops sell today, which makes this Oi bike bell from Knog a breath of fresh air as it is a very discreet bell.
Knog sent me a Black Oi which is nothing like anything else on the market, it has a completely unique design that blends in very well with the black on my handle bars and at first look you would not even know it was bike bell!

Easy to fit.
Simply unscrew the Hexagon bolt and open the Oi casing and slide it over your bars, position the gear and brake cables as required and retighten the bolt after placement.
Knog have various designs of the Oi,  I have is the Large one, it fits size from 23.8 to 38.8mm

The designers at Knog have even thought about the placement of the brake and gear cabling on your bike and designed a neat little cable slot on the underside. So if you have any brake or gear cables in the way, simply slot the Oi around the bars to incorporate the cable run, it will also make them look much neater and  keep them safely out of the way .

RaceWare sent me a bar mount for my Garmin GPS cycle computer and its an Orange one!
You maybe thinking what’s so special about that then, well its a colour match for the Orange bar tape on my Gravel Bike and it also matches the Orange Louri Frame Strap I have on my bike.
