Meilan C5 Heart Rate monitor strap

Meilan Heart Rate Monitor Review.

The guys at Meilan sent me a nice addition to the M1 GPS Cycle Computer in the form of a Heart Rate Monitor strap, it’s a light, and easy to wear chest strap that has Bluetooth and Ant connection so it is a really easy to link up with the M1 computer and other makes as well being Bluetooth. 

                       

Instructions are on the reverse of the card the C5 is packaged in, so just a case of cutting the front open to remove the strap.

Battery will need to have the tab removed, follow the directions on the card. 

This will need to be removed, open the rear case. 

Set the tab to one side, replace the cover making sure it’s in the right place and the tabs  match up.

The satrap can be removed by uncle-ping the two press studs. 

Adjust the strap to fit around your chest at the right height as explained on the card. 

Nice clip, easy on off. 

Be Carfull how you open the front and remove the start.

Once the battery is in place, all you need to do is place it around your chest and adjust the strap so it feels comfortable, to link up the cycle computer simply get to setting’s. Connect and look for the C5 in the List of items, push connect and you should now see it on your device.

Now on your rides you can see the Heart Rate on your ride....

My Verdict:
Very easy to set up and comfortable to wear, I found no problems with the strap as in it being uncomfortable to wear, major benefit is the ease of connection to to Meilan M1 Cycle Computer.
