 Crivit Chain Cleaner review.

Whats in the Box:
1 x Chain cleaner.
1x Degreaser.
1x Oil.

Description: 3 rotating brushes which easily clean most standard bicycle chains without dismantling or spraying dirt onto braces, rims etc Grease and biodegradable cleaning agent included, both 50m.

Cage with 3 rotating brushes and removable lid.

Chain degreaser, Chain oil.

Nice and new rotating brushes.

 How to use: I found the Chain cleaner very easy to use on the chain, you will find a clamp that holds the lid in place, remove this and fill the reservoir with degreaser.

 Place the unit on to the bottom section of chain, hook the the arm behind the jockey wheel, and replace the lid, I found it best to have your gears in the small sprocket first of all.

Fill reservoir with degreaser.

Close lid, secure with the clamp.

Pedal backwards, use one hand on the chain cleaner to steady it as you pedal backwards at a slow pace.

Brushes get in to your chain very well removing all the old muck in the gaps of the chain.

How about that then! Well impressed on a machine that does not cost the earth.

Once the chain is cleaned, dry off and apply oil, job done! 

Conclusion:  For the price of the unit I was impressed with the way the chain at the end of the cleaning process, the brushes manage to get in to the links and remove any grit laying there.
Found it easy enough to fill and place on the chain.
Clamps held the lid in place well enough.
Keeps the mess to a minimum making cleaning relatively easy.  (Wife will be pleased).
5 minutes was the time it took me to clean the chain.
