Lezyne Strip Drive Pro.
I have another "Gem" of a light, this time it's the Strip Drive Pro, from the House of  Lezyne!

What's new:   The Strip Drive Pro is totally waterproof, thanks to the design of the LED's and the case they are set in.  The Strip Drive Pro features the all new Co-Molded body, which makes it  possible to keep the Strip Pro Drive waterproof,  sealing it tightly against the worst of the UK weather.
The On/Off switch is also encased under the rubber skin which makes the Lezyne Strip Drive Pro a completely waterproof rear light!.

Mode Memory: Lezyne have come up with 9 setting modes for the Strip Pro Drive, Lezyne call them "Blast, Enduro and Economy",mixed with six flash modes, basically a lot of modes to scroll through, so you should find a mode  that suits you, Lezyne have also introduced a "Mode Memory" on/off switch, which means you simply scroll through them until you find one suitable for the ride your going on, then simply "Turn it off", when you need the light back on the Mode Memory will switch it on to the mode you last used! Brilliant idea, and works so well.

USB 3 Hour charge time.
Charge Time: 3 Hours is the stated time to fully charge up the Strip Pro Drive, one of the shortest charge times I have come across on a light with the spec the Lezyne has, so well impressed with that one, because who wants to wait for half a day!
Rubber end cap reveal the USB integrated charge stick.
Side charge light, Red needs charging, Green charged.
The only problem I found, was with the charge design on the Strip Pro Drive, and that is the Charge Indicator light is on the side. I personally charge up the Lezyne via the USB Port on my laptop, which means the light is poking out from the side port a bit, not too much of a problem but when I charge up more than one light, they have to sit side by side which makes it a bit of a delicate squeeze when I have the laptop on my lap, so maybe a cable would be a good option for the Strip Drive Pro. This could then add to the cost, and as the srp of this one is a good mid range price, who wants to pay more!
Rubber holding strap.
Fitting: The Lezyne Strip Drive Pro uses a rubber strap to fit the light to the seat post, and even the aero seat post, if your lucky to have one!
Once fitted on to various seat post sizes I found the Strip Drive Pro to feel secure and not move around like some others have done in the past, saves you keep having to check is your light is shining in the right direction! and not just lighting the underneath of the saddle.

LED's: Lezyne have come up with a nice slim design in the Strip Drive Pro, it has 5 Five market-leading, ultra high-output LEDs delivering up to 100 lumen's, and be assured they are bright!
In the design of the Strip Drive Lezyne have come up with a clever way of getting the LED's to shine bright, but not dazzle the road users behind you when your riding, and that is simply to angle the LED's at a downward angle.
With a 180 Degree side visibility it makes the Strip Drive Pro visible from the side.

My Verdict: Lezyne has upped the game on flash modes for rear light's, with the Strip Pro Drive, a really bright one this model, pushing out a credible 100 Lumen's of power!

Flash modes: I just love the different flash modes Lezyne have created in this one, the memory switch is a really great idea and saves time scrolling through all the light sequences until you find the one you need.

Mounting: On a lot of lights, the rubber strap tends to move a bit, but I found the Strip Pro Drive stayed where I placed it! it also fitted all my seat posts,  Lezyne have even made it suitable for the aero seat post as well.

Charging: 3 hours from flat to full charge. The side indication lights I found to be a bit of a pain when I had it plugged in to my laptop, I had to keep moving it to check it, it is also made worse by trying to charge two at a time.

Run times: Listed on Lezyne's site here. http://www.lezyne.com/product-led-sport-strippro.php#.VmR2C7-K5PM
Warranty: 2 Year warranty against defects.

Colour: Red or Black are the colours available,  personally I prefer the black one.

Brightness: The clever thing about the LED's on the Strip Drive Pro are the way Lezyne designers have angled them down wards, the light reflects back on the road making a kind of  Aura shining out the rear of your bike, so it tends to make vehicles pass slightly wider I noticed as well, definitely a bonus!

So there you have it a great priced rear light from the House of Lezyne, I do feel they have expanded the boundaries with the flash modes now on the Strip Drive Pro, and the added Memory switch as well make the Lezyne Strip Drive Pro a worth while investment.
You will certainty be seen with this one on your rear"!

I have tried to make a video of the flash sequence of the Strip Drive Pro but found it to be too powerful to record a video, watch what I have come up with here...

Update: Just to show how well the Strip Drive Pro is at being waterproof, I had to have it on the bike on one of the rides just after it had rained all day, you all know the type of ride, leaves the bike in a right mess when you get home!

Covered in typical road grime!

No problem with any water getting in to the Strip Drive Pro, well covered, and still bright enough to be seen with!
Another day out with rain! The Strip Drive Pro came out great.
Totally Waterproof..
